Alex Garcia has just graduated college with a computer science degree, and now it's time to enter the “real world.” She's driven, hard-working, and doesn't let anything stand in the way of achieving her goals. However, when she lands a tech gig in Los Angeles for a major company, things don't go exactly as planned. 

After finding herself in an embarrassing situation with her hallway crush, Alex recruits the help of her troublesome coworker, Maddie, to assist in her attempt to "get the girl.” Alex begins to worry she's made a mistake when her uptight personality clashes heavily with Maddie's nonchalant attitude. 

As she spends more time delving into her love life, things get complicated when Alex gets caught in a love triangle she doesn't know how to escape. Can she make sense of her feelings before it all comes crashing down? Will her crush requite her love? Or will Alex find love somewhere she least expected?

I Don't Dance tells an endearing love story of two queer women doing their best, falling in love, and discovering new things about themselves along the way.
